Nostalgic White Rabbit candy ice cream soon to be sold at NTUC FairPrice for S$12 per pack

White Rabbit candy is arguably every Singaporean's favourite childhood sweet treat.

This is possibly why there are many variations of the special milk candy.

And here's yet another one.

Available from Aug. 28

White Rabbit candy-flavoured ice cream will be available at FairPrice Online and 63 NTUC FairPrice outlets from Aug. 28, 2021, according to local distributor Hao Food SG.

According to the company, this is the only official White Rabbit ice cream from the original producers of the White Rabbit Creamy Candy in Shanghai.

The ice cream sticks are sold in a box of five and are going at S$12 per box.

Chewy and milky

According to the description on FairPrice Online, the ice cream has the same chewy texture and milky taste of the candy.

Available in Belgium and Canada

It is made using fresh milk and single cream from Shanghai dairy brand Bright Dairy.

Here's the full list of ingredients: Water, Fresh Milk, Sweetened Condensed Whole Milk, Glucose Syrup, Whole Milk Powder, Whipping Cream, White granulated sugar, Maltodextrin, Butter, Edible Salt, Food Additives (Guar gum, Glyceryl mono and distearate, Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, Xanthan Gum, Carrageenan, Edible Flavor).

The ice cream appeared in other parts of the world including Belgium, Canada and Malaysia before it finally hit our shores.
