Takashimaya mooncake fair returns as physical event with 25 brands, now until Sep. 21, 2021

If the sheer number of mooncake advertisements hasn't clued you in yet, the Mid-Autumn Festival falls on September 21 this year.

From now until September 21, 2021, Takashimaya's annual Mid-Autumn Festival mooncake fair will be offering over 300 mooncakes and 25 brands.

The stalls will be predominantly located at the Talking Hall on B1 and scattered across the Food Hall on B2.

No sampling will be allowed this year as well due to Covid-19.

Talking Hall

Access the Talking Hall by turning right upon entering via this entrance on B1.

Innovative mooncake flavours (and their boxes)

Here's are some of the varieties and brands that you can catch at the online and in-store sale.

Newly launched this year, the Limited Edition Premium Imperial Chinese Chess Set by Mdm Ling's Bakery has clinched the Singapore Packaging Star Award (SPSA) 2021.

In addition, their latest collection is the Lavalicious Mooncakes in four flavours: Japanese Matcha, Nanyang Coffee Caramel,  Hong Kong Salted Egg Custard, and Belgian Chocolate & Italian Chocolate Hazelnut.

Peach Garden's innovative flavours this year include Premium Mala Paste with Assorted Nuts (beetroot-flavoured Skin), Golden Pandan Paste with One Yolk (reduced sugar), and Premium Jackfruit Paste with Melon Seeds.

Old Seng Choong is also offering unconventional flavours such as Black Truffle Red Lotus Paste with Bakwa, Hae Bee Hiam Red Lotus Paste, and Bird Nest Pandan Gula Melaka, in a treasure chest with a functional lock and key (if you aren't the sharing sort).

Durian mooncakes by two of the vendors, My Mum's Cookies and Home's Favourite, are halal-certified and vegetarian friendly.
