Three boys were seen helping an elderly woman push her trolley across the road and onto the pavement.
The video was first shared to Facebook group by one Bharath Bala on Aug. 7, and subsequently circulated in other groups such as Roads.sg.
Helping the elderly lady cross the road
The caption of the video said that the elderly lady was struggling with her trolley while at a pedestrian crossing, and the boys helped her to push the trolley towards the other side of the road.
The video, taken from inside a vehicle, shows them at one end of the crossing.
The elderly woman appeared to have some difficulties pushing the trolley over the tactile paving onto the pavement.
The boys could be seen looking at the floor, trying to guide the lady on how to push the trolley onto the pavement before the pedestrian crossing light turned red.
One of the boys tried to clear the path by picking up a black garbage bag on the ground. A woman, who was accompanying the boys, picked it up and held on to it instead.
As the space was a little tight, one boy could be seen reaching for his friends' arms and pulling them towards the pavement to make sure that they weren't on the road.
They eventually managed to push the trolley over the tactile paving before the traffic light turned green.
Netizens praised the boys
The video was reposted on Roads.sg and received many comments praising the boys for their good deeds.
