It's another contender for the battle of packaging as Cheers and FairPrice Xpress are set to launch Sanrio-themed mooncakes for the festivities in September.

There will be three baked mooncake sets under the series, featuring either Hello Kitty or My Melody, in stores from Aug. 17, 2021.

The whole shebang consists of a wind-up music box, six pieces of postcards and envelopes, and lest we forget, four mooncakes:

• Meteor Wave Cherries Mooncake
• Royale Dark Musang King Mooncake
• Shang-moon Emerald Lotus Salted Egg Lava Mooncake

Beauty My Melody Lunch Bag
