On Aug. 23, Former Malaysian Miss Universe Samantha Katie James posted a picture of her and her friend on her Instagram account.

They did not have masks on, a point they acknowledged in the caption.

"Me and my princess doing our thangggg. Coz we cute like that surrounded by everyone with their masks on 😂 oooooo spreading our light and sovereignty everywhere"

"Will never wear that f**king diaper"

In the caption, James wrote that she will "never wear that f**kin diaper" on her face.

She said she will only wear a mask to be "undercover around annoying people".

James also said in the post that a man walked passed by her and "pull his mask off and crunch it in his hand!"

James also wrote that she was spreading "light and sovereignty everywhere".

According to New Straits Times, the tagged person in the photo applauded James in the comments.

Previously drew flak for dismissing BLM

This was not the first time James made headlines for the wrong reasons.

In June 2020, she uploaded a series of Instagram stories containing insensitive remarks on the Black Lives Matter movement.
