A huge fire broke out at a coffeeshop in Tampines Street 81 on Saturday (Aug. 7).
The fire was extinguished with four water jets within an hour, and there were no reported injuries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said in an update on its Facebook page at around 5:30pm.
SCDF said that damping down operations — involving the application of water to wet burnt surfaces — were ongoing, so as to prevent any potential rekindling of fire.

Coffeeshop "well alight" with "raging fire" upon SCDF's arrival
SCDF said that the coffeeshop was "well alight" upon its arrival at the scene, and that several members of the public were trying to control the "raging fire" with three hose reels.
SCDF firefighters with their breathing apparatus sets proceeded cautiously into the burning coffee shop to conduct firefighting operation with water jets, SCDF said.
Stall owners and patrons from the coffeeshop, as well as members of the public in the immediate vicinity had self-evacuated prior to SCDF's arrival.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, said SCDF.
