Mandatory Covid-19 testing for all residents of 113 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4 after 9 cases detected

The testing will be conducted on Aug. 29.

Residents of 113 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4 will have to undergo Covid-19 testing due to likely Covid-19 transmission.

During its investigations, the Ministry of Health (MOH) uncovered nine cases of Covid-19 infection at five households at the block.

Epidemiological investigations are ongoing to determine linkages and the source of transmission.

Residents already informed

MOH said on Aug. 28 that it will conduct mandatory Covid-19 testing for all residents of 113 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4 to uncover community infection cases.

Mandatory testing will be conducted on Aug. 29 between 9am and 4pm at the void deck of 113 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 4.

Testing is optional for those who have tested negative for Covid-19 infection from Aug. 25 onwards.

Residents are required to bring their NRIC during the testing for identification purposes.

More information of the testing has also been sent out to residents via leaflets and SMS notifications.

MOH reminds residents to keep to their appointment time, and advises them to monitor their health closely and consult a doctor immediately if they feel unwell.

Those who are awaiting their test results are advised to minimise social interactions as much as possible.

They should continue to monitor their health and seek immediate medical attention if they feel unwell.
