If you live in the Tampines area, you might have spotted this bizarre but rather heartwarming sight.
That is, of a man, decked in casual wear, cycling with a rooster perched on his shoulder.
Daily affair
According to a post in the Singapore Wildlife Sightings Facebook group, the duo were spotted nonchalantly waiting to cross the street near the Tampines Sun Plaza Park entrance on Aug. 4.
According to some comments, the pair are apparently a common sight in the neighbourhood.
One commenter wrote that the man cycles to Pasir Ris Park every day with his rooster, which is said to be "potty trained".
The rooster even reportedly clucks when he needs to "take a quick leak".
Other pictures shared within the post showed the rooster unruffled, hitching a ride upon his owner's shoulders and staying close at all times.
Awwwwwwww.
Best friend dynamics
The Facebook post has since garnered over 1,000 likes and 200 shares.
Most commenters were amused at the best friend dynamics between the pair.
Others tried to speculate what the duo could have been doing in the aforementioned picture.
The rooster follows a trend set by his previous feathered counterparts – who have also hitched a ride, albeit via other modes of transport, around Singapore.
