Lionel Messi has accepted a contract from French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Messi will go to PSG
Football journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted the announcement on Aug. 10, saying that Messi will be in Paris "in the next hours".

Messi will join PSG on a two-year contract, with an option to extend till 2024.
He will receive 35 million euros (approximately S$55 million) per season.
He left Barcelona after two decades
On Aug. 6, it was announced that Messi would leave FC Barcelona after two decades with the club because of "financial and structural obstacles (Spanish Liga regulations)".
There were many speculations on which clubs Messi would go to next, with PSG and Manchester City as the top two contenders.
Over the past few days however, PSG appeared to be making the most progress with the football star, and had started negotiating a contract with him.
