Here's yet another concept to look forward to from Kumoya.

From Sep. 1, the Kumoya will be having a pop-up Hello Kitty shabu shabu pop-up restaurant.

The restaurant will be decked in Hello Kitty-themed decorations, including colourful Japanese motifs, kimono prints and even images of the feline herself hugging a Merlion.

Mini shabu shabu set from S$24.90

The mini shabu shabu menu is curated in collaboration with bento food artist Shirley Wong.

According to Kumoya, a mini shabu shabu set starts from S$24.90.

Every set comes with:

  • 1 soup base (10 flavours to choose from including Szechuan Mala and Oishi Dashi)
  • 1 mixed vegetables pot
  • 1 meat, seafood or vegetarian set (from S$24.90 to S$33.90)
  • 1 Hello Kitty rice or beetroot noodle
  • 1 dipping sauce

Here are some add-ons, ranging from S$1 to S$44.90, that can be added to the mini shabu shabu.

There's also a kids meal (S$14.90) for the little one, which consists of Japanese rice, with a choice of tempura salmon or karaage chicken, cream sauce and an apple.

This time, there are three desserts to choose from.

Customers can top up S$8.90 (U.P. S$11.90 to S$12.90) for the desserts with every mini shabu set order.

To complete the experience, there are six snack options to choose from, including chicken sausage with brown sauce (S$11.90) and Thai-style pandan chicken (S$14.90).

90 minutes dining time

Kumoya states that their menu has no pork, no lard and no alcohol, however, it is not halal certified.

Dining time is limited to 90 minutes.

There is also a minimum spending of S$25 per person.

Prices stated are subject to seven per cent GST.
