The torrential rain in the morning has led to some flash floods occurring at some parts of Singapore.

This includes the slip roads along Tampines Avenue 10 and Pasir Ris Drive 12 towards the TPE entrance.

Singapore's National Water Agency PUB has issued a warning at around 8am saying that their officers have been deployed to the site, as well as other areas that have been affected by rain.

25 people evacuated

In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that they received a call for assistance at 7:40am this morning.

Upon SCDF's arrival, 13 vehicles were found stationary and partially submerged in water.

About 25 people had evacuated from four of these vehicles prior to SCDF's arrival.

Five people from these vehicles were brought to safety under nearby sheltered areas.

SCDF conveyed one person to Changi General Hospital for leg pains.

Besides Tampines Ave 10, PUB also advised motorists to avoid using some other areas due to the risk of flash floods.
