700m go-kart track opening in Jurong in Aug. 2021, from S$35 per session

Go-kart enthusiasts in Singapore would know of The Karting Arena, a karting race track located in Bukit Timah.

Soon, The Karting Arena will be opening a second track in Jurong.

Slated to open later in Aug. 2021, the second karting track in Jurong will also offer a full-fledged karting experience.

Up to 30 go-karts

With an area spanning 153,000 sq ft, one can look forward to a 700m-long track with 11 technical turns.

A larger space also means that there can be group events of up to 30 go-karts on track at any one time.

It is furnished with a racers' VIP lounge, private garage units, a helmet disinfection station, lockers and more.

Amenities also include d'Arena, where karters can refuel after spending time on the track.

Professional race track

Apart from being a destination for casual motorsport enthusiasts, the Jurong facility is also designed with recommendations from professional race drivers and to host professional race events.

It is decked with a race control room, track cameras and even a viewing gallery on the second floor.

To add to the experience, it is also equipped with safety barriers similar to safety systems installed in Formula 1 circuits.

According to The Karting Arena, the Jurong track will be the only race track in Singapore with a minimum width of 10-metres throughout for added safety.

It also features a well-lit track that is optimised for night driving.

Suitable for kids above 9

On top of that, a new fleet of BirelArt petroleum-powered go-karts are available and karters can choose their racing experience with speeds of up to 30km/h or 50km/h for the thrill-seekers (with a valid drivers' license).

There are two types of petroleum-powered go-karts available:

  • Single seater: Safe for solo beginner and young drivers aged above nine years old
  • Double seater: Safe for all drivers

From S$35 for adults

Fun Karting rates start from S$25 per session for novice (minimum 9 years old and 140cm height) and S$35 per session for adults.

The Karting Arena in Jurong is also available for corporate and private bookings and competitive F1 Grand Prix packages.
