It looks like Senior Minister and Member of Parliament for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC Teo Chee Hean is looking forward to a new dog run which will open in Punggol Waterway Park come March 2022.

The announcement was made by fellow Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC MP Janil Puthucheary on Facebook yesterday (Aug. 23):

Responding to the happy news by Janil, Teo expressed his excitement with a rather playful comment, which drew many other "woofs" in response:

What's a dog run?

Dog runs are large fenced-up areas within parks where dogs can roam or play with each other in an open space.

Families with dogs of any size, and breed can head over to a dog run and let their fur kids run free without leashes.

There are many Dog Runs in Singapore, namely: Bishan Park Dog Run, Katong Park Dog Run, West Coast Dog Run, Yishun Park Dog Run, Tampines Central Park Dog Run, and Sembawang Park Dog Run.

And soon, there will be one in Punggol too.
