147 new locally transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 52 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 155 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Monday (Aug. 30).

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 67,459.

147 locally transmitted cases

There are 147 new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infection.

53 are linked to previous cases, and have already been placed on quarantine. 42 are linked to previous cases and were detected through surveillance.

52 are currently unlinked.

Among the cases is one senior above 70 years who is partially vaccinated at risk of serious illness.

Eight imported cases

In addition, there are eight imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Three were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while five developed the illness during SHN or isolation.
