American fashion designer Vera Wang turns 72.

She shared photos of her birthday bash on Instagram recently.

Among the attendees include other fashion moguls Donna Karen and Calvin Klein.

Wang awed many followers with her youthful look and won praise for her neon dress.

Wang also served her newly launched brand of Italian prosecco, called "PARTY".

Wang said that she has dedicated her whole life to designing how people celebrate, from what they wear to how they entertain and live at home.

"PARTY is a natural extension of what I already do," she added.

You might have noticed that no one was wearing a face mask at Wang's party.

Last month, the state of New York lifted most of its Covid-19 restrictions as 70 per cent of adults living in the state have at least taken one dose of vaccine.

Mask-wearing is now only compulsory in some settings such as in hospitals, and on public transport.
