If you fancy yourself some waffles, here's an interesting one.
Located in West Coast is a new cafe called Up In Smoke.
Smoky offerings
It is an apt name, given that the cafe specialises in Smoked Waffles (from S$10).
If that doesn't sound familiar, it is essentially buttermilk waffles infused with fumes from smoked applewood chips for two minutes, and served in a smoke-filled glass dome.
As the sister company of popular ice cream cafe Burnt Cones, waffles at Up In Smoke wouldn't be complete without scoops of gelato (fr0m S$5).
Flavours include pistachio, dark chocolate and ube (purple yam).
Apart from waffles, Up In Smoke is also known for its Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich which comes in three sizes:
- Junior (S$10)
- Regular (S$12)
- Double (S$18)
Each sandwich comes with a generous portion of beef and cheese sauce.
Even drinks can be smoked up.
Take for example the Smoked Affogato (S$10).
And the Smoked Iced Black (S$6).
Breakfast from 9am
If you're up early, the cafe also serves breakfast every morning from 9am:
From 9am to 11pm
The cafe is opened daily from 9am to 11pm.
As part of the cafe's safe management measures, dining time is limited to one hour per group of guests.
There is no service charge and GST.
