American electric vehicle maker, Tesla, has opened its first showroom in Singapore at Raffles City on July. 30, 2021.

Showroom to feature Tesla Model 3

The showroom, which spans around 143 square metres, is located at level one within ONE Assembly.

For the uninitiated, ONE Assembly is a creative retail collaboration between CapitaLand and BHG Singapore.

The showroom will feature the Tesla Model 3, a four-door sedan that is the only model currently available for sale in Singapore.

According to an earlier Business Times report, Tesla had leased a building in Toa Payoh Lorong 8 that will house a showroom, corporate office and service centre.

Price

According to its website, the estimated price for a Tesla Model 3 is around S$113,245, which excludes the Certificate of Entitlement (COE).

This is more than double of what it costs in the U.S., where an entry-level Model 3 costs around US$38,000 (S$50,350).

The price also does not include extras such as all-wheel drive.

Interested buyers can pre-order the car and expect it to be delivered in the second half of 2021.
