A police car ended up in the drain along South Buona Vista Road towards Pasir Panjang Road on Saturday afternoon, July 10.
Photos of the accident scene were posted on Facebook.
A video showing the police car on its side was also put up on Facebook.The police said they were alerted to the accident at 3.58pm that day.They added: "The car was believed to have skidded."
No injuries were reported.
Police investigations are ongoing.
