M'sia reports new record of 11,618 new Covid-19 cases

Second day in a row with over 11,000 new cases.

For the second day in a row, Malaysia reported more than 11,000 new cases of Covid-19 infection.

On July 14, there were 11,618 new cases reported, according to CNA.

This comes after yesterday's increase of 11,079 new cases.

About half of the new cases today were reported from the state of Selangor, at 5,051 cases.

Kuala Lumpur reported 1,749 cases, Johor has 526 cases while Penang has 210 cases.

The total number of cases is now at 867,567 for the country.
