United States vice president Kamala Harris could travel to Singapore in August 2021, Reuters reported tentatively in an article short on details but padded with insider knowledge.
The second-in-command could visit both Singapore and Vietnam, Reuters reported, even as details of such a trip are not final yet, an anonymous source familiar with the matter said on July 26.
The coronavirus pandemic is likely to be on Harris' agenda, the source said.
Harris recently visited Mexico and Guatemala.
She focused on issues such as economic development, food insecurity and women's issues during her trip there.
The aim was to lower migration from the region.
