129 new locally transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 28 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 135 cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Monday (July 26).

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases in Singapore to 64,314.

61 cases linked to Jurong Fishery Port cluster

129 of the cases are locally transmitted, of which 101 are linked and 28 are unlinked.

One of the new cases include a senior above the age of 70, who is partially vaccinated and at risk of serious illness.

Among the linked cases, 61 are from the Jurong Fishery Port cluster, while six belong to the KTV cluster.

76 of the linked cases have already been placed on quarantine, while 25 were detected through surveillance.

Six imported cases

In addition, there are six imported cases, all of whom have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Three were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while the other three developed the illness during SHN or isolation.
