Singaporean Olympian Joseph Schooling has returned home from the Tokyo Olympics.
The 26-year-old was seen in a Instagram story reposted by his mother May getting off a bus to presumably start his stay-home notice at a hotel.
"My baby is back," wrote the elder Schooling, adorning her post with heart stickers and a "virtual hug".
Singapore's most successful Olympic athlete had previously taken to social media to thank fans for their wishes and support after his disappointing Tokyo 2020 showing.
"It means the world to me," he said.
"I’ll take some time to process everything and get back to you as soon as I can."

He had failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the 100m freestyle and the 100m butterfly — the latter of which had won gold in at the Rio 2016 Olympic games.
