Gram Cafe is opening its second outlet in Singapore on July 12, at Waterway Point.

New pancake flavours

One of the highlights at the outlet is the Gram x Hershey's collaboration, which will see limited time Chocolate Lava Pancakes going for S$20.90.

The stack features the cafe's original souffle pancakes, but with Hershey’s chocolate in its batter and an oozy chocolate centre.

And we say "oozy" rather than "flowing", as the chocolate is made into a thicker concoction of ganache that refrains from soaking the airy batter of the pancakes and compromising its texture.

Three at one go is probably too much for one person, which means you can share the calories (and the bill) between two or even three.

While it's not too sweet and will probably sit well with fans of chocolate desserts, we prefer the Lotus Biscoff Premium Pancakes (S$18.90).

It's a lighter, vanilla version served with whipped cream, strawberries, blueberries, as well as Lotus Biscoff sauce and crumbles that has more, er, nuance to the taste (no food blogger here clearly).

Another new dessert is the Mango Premium Pancakes (S$18.90) that comes with whipped cream, mangos, and mango pulp puree.

Promotion: Customers who order the Gram x Hershey's Premium Chocolate Lava Pancakes from July 12-18 can top up 10 cents for a drink of Passionfruit Fizz or Strawberry Fizz.

Savoury menu

A significant portion of the menu is dedicated to the savoury as well:

  • Cheese Melt Brulee (S$22.90)

    • One stack of pancake with shrimp, bacon and cheese sauce, and another stack with fruits and jam glaze.

  • The Eggs Benedict (S$22.90)

    • Pancakes with smoked salmon, bacon, and poached egg, and Hollandaise sauce

  • Pan Fried Togarashi Pink Salmon Fillet (S$20.90)

    • Pan-fried salmon with grilled potatoes, mushrooms, and lemon butter sauce

A series of rice bowls and pastas only available at Waterway Point is also on the menu during lunch (12pm – 2pm) and dinner (6pm – 8pm).

Prices range for S$7.90 to S$11.90 for the mini mains, and S$13.90 to S$15.90 for larger ones.
