American actor and retired pro wrestler Dwayne Johnson, also known as "The Rock", has confirmed that he won't be rejoining the family.

The 49-year-old, who sat out the latest ninth instalment of the Fast and Furious series, said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "I wish them well on Fast".

"And I wish them the best of luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the Fast & Furious movies they do that will be without me," he continued.

Johnson was responding to Vin Diesel's claim last month that he was responsible for Johnson's performance as Luke Hobbs in Fast Five, saying it was due to the "tough love" he gave.

He said, "I laughed and I laughed hard, I think everyone had a laugh at that. And I’ll leave it at that."

The two had a public feud between them in the past, dating back to now-deleted Instagram post by Johnson in 2016. With the latest barbs traded, it appears that the feud is not yet over.
