182 new locally-transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 147 linked to KTV & Jurong Fishery Port clusters

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 195 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Tuesday (July 20).

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 63,440.

182 of the cases are locally transmitted, of which 135 are linked to the Jurong Fishery Port cluster and 12 belong to the KTV cluster.

Of the 182 cases, 81 are linked to previous cases, and have already been placed on quarantine.

75 are linked to previous cases and were detected through surveillance. 26 are currently unlinked.

Amongst the cases are two seniors above 70 years who are unvaccinated, and are at risk of serious illness.

13 imported cases

In addition, there are 13 imported cases, who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Six were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while seven developed the illness during SHN or isolation.
