1 new locally transmitted Covid-19 case in S'pore, currently unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 10 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12pm on July 9.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore thus far to 62,678.

There is one new case of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection, who is currently unlinked.

Nine imported cases

The remaining nine cases reported today were imported cases.

All nine had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

Amongst them, six were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while three developed the illness during SHN or isolation.

Further updates will be shared by MOH this evening.
