The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 139 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Tuesday (July 27).

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 64,453.

36 cases are linked to the Jurong Fishery Port cluster

136 of the cases are locally transmitted, of which 81 are linked and 55 are unlinked.

Of the new cases, three seniors above 70 years who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and are at risk of serious illness.

Among the linked cases, 36 are linked to the Jurong Fishery Port cluster and two belong to the KTV cluster.

59 are linked to previous cases and have already been placed on quarantine.

22 are linked to previous cases and were detected through surveillance.

Three imported cases

In addition, there are three imported cases, all of whom have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Two were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while the other developed the illness during SHN or isolation.
