Durian isn't the only fruit in season right now.

It seems there's an abundance of rambutans right now, particularly in the northern side of Singapore.

Lots of rambutans

A Facebook post by Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC, Lim Wee Kiak, shared that the Canberra residents' network and the Sembawang Town Council have harvested a healthy amount of rambutans.

These hairy fruits seem to have been taken from rambutan trees within the HDB estates in Canberra.

These rambutans were harvested for residents of the area.

Free for residents

According to Lim, residents who are collecting their National Day flags at the Canberra Zone 6 Residents' Network can help themselves to some rambutans.
