Woman, 39, arrested for allegedly murdering man, 51, at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) have arrested a 39-year-old woman for her suspected involvement in the murder of a 51-year-old man.

According to a July 15 SPF news release, the police were alerted to a case of dispute at a residential unit along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 at about 12:55am on July 15.

Man and woman had multiple wounds

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a man and a woman, both with multiple wounds, outside the residential unit.

The 39-year-old woman and the 51-year-old man were both conscious when conveyed to the hospital, where the man subsequently died from his injuries.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man and woman were known to each other, SPF said.

The woman is currently warded at hospital for medical treatment.

She will be charged in court on July 16 with murder. If found guilty, she could face the death penalty.
