61 new Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 32 linked to KTV cluster that has grown to 120

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 62,913.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 61 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on July 16.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore to 62,913.

There are 53 new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 cases, of which 32 belong to the KTV cluster.

The KTV cluster has grown to 120 cases.

Of the 53 locally transmitted cases today, 24 are linked to previous cases, and have already been placed on quarantine.

20 cases are linked to previous cases and were detected through surveillance.

Nine cases are currently unlinked.

Eight of the cases confirmed today were imported, and had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Two were detected upon arrival in Singapore, while six developed the illness during SHN or isolation.

Further updates will be shared by MOH this evening.
