Durians going for as low as S$1.99 per fruit at Marine Parade FairPrice Finest

Nothing says peak durian season like durians going for extremely low prices, much to the delight of durian lovers.

Those who love the distinct-smelling fruit can rejoice as a FairPrice Finest outlet at Marine Parade is offering the king of fruits, and prices start from as low as S$1.99 per durian.

Announced on Facebook on July 17, the promotion period will run from now till July 22.

A spokesperson from NTUC FairPrice told Mothership that the promotional price of S$1.99 per fruit applies to small and "general" durians of an undetermined cultivar.

However, bigger durians will also be part of the promotional offering.

Depending on the thorny fruit's size, they will be sold at three for S$10, S$20, or S$50.
