Tempura Tendon Tenya is expanding in Singapore.
Its second outlet, which comes about nine months after its first store, will open at Ion Orchard in early July 2021.
It will be at ION food hall, at Basement 4.
The Japanese tendon chain is popular for its value-for-money tempura bowls.
For S$8.50, diners can get the signature Tenya Tendon, which comes with tempura black tiger prawn, red fish, squid, pumpkin, and French beans.
Other bowls range from S$7.90 to S$12.90.
Set meals with udon or soba are available as well.
There are also a number of sides, such as truffle fries (S$3.90, fried chicken pieces (S$4.90), and fried squid tentacles (S$4.90).
Appetisers include chawanmushi (S$2.50) and tamago yaki (S$3.90).
The chain prides itself on its patented Automatic Fryer, as well as ingredients sourced from Japan.
