Those of a certain vintage might be familiar with chicken rice balls.

Unlike the usual chicken rice that's served scattered across the plate, these are literally chicken rice that's rolled into balls.

Chicken rice balls are not very common nowadays, but if you have a craving for them or simply wish to try something new, you can find them at Simpang Bedok.

Sin Kee Simpang Bedok, located at 348 Bedok Road, recently started offering chicken rice balls at 50 cents each.

Two rice balls are equivalent to one usual serving of chicken rice.

Sin Kee Simpang Bedok also offers the usual selection of poached or roasted chicken, and accompanying add-ons:
