If you have ever wanted to see for yourself what the office of the Leader of the Opposition looks like, here's your chance.

The Workers' Party (WP) will be sharing a live-streamed video on Instagram, as the party's Youth Wing will be taking a tour of Pritam Singh's office in Parliament.

The session will begin at 7:30pm on June 18 (tomorrow), via its Instagram account @wpsgp.

Interested viewers can also post questions in the comment section, and the WP leader may answer them.

The head of the WP's Youth Wing, Nicole Seah, also shared it as an Instagram story on June 17.

Singh was named the country's official Leader of the Opposition by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, following the results of the general election in 2020.

The WP won another GRC in Sengkang, and saw 10 of its members enter Parliament.

As the Leader, Singh was granted an office in Parliament, staff support and an allowance of S$385,000 annually.

Singh later announced he would donate half of the additional allowance.

In Parliament, Singh is seated directly opposite PM Lee and his speaking time has doubled from 20 minutes to 40 minutes, equivalent to that of political officeholders.

He also has the right to ask ministers the lead question on policies, motions and Bills (subject to speaking conventions), and will receive confidential briefings on select matters of national security or during emergencies.
