McDonald's Japan to launch Pikachu-themed desserts including chocolate banana McFlurry & custard apple pie

McDonald's Japan is collaborating with popular video game series Pokémon this summer.

The fast-food chain will be launching fruity desserts featuring Pikachu on June 11.

Pikachu-themed desserts

The desserts include:

  • Peach McShake
  • Chocolate banana McFlurry
  • Apple Custard pie

Peach McShake

The peach McShake comes in two sizes: Small (120 Yen or S$1.45) and Medium (200 Yen or S$2.42).

The cool dessert comes in six different Pikachu-themed cup designs.

Chocolate banana McFlurry

This chocolate banana McFlurry (290 yen or S$3.50) consists of a rich milk-flavoured soft serve mixed with banana sauce, chocolate sauce and banana-flavoured corn crisps.

It will come in three different Pikachu-themed cup designs.

Apple custard pie

The apple custard pie (150 yen or S$1.45) is a crisp pastry filled with warm vanilla-flavoured custard cream and cinnamon-flavoured apples.

It will come in three different Pikachu-themed packaging designs.

According to TimeOut Tokyo, the McShake will be around till mid-July while the apple pie and McFlurry will be available till mid-September.
