After nearly a decade co-hosting the breakfast show at Kiss92, DJ Maddy Barber is quitting radio to focus on her bespoke jewellery brand, Madly.

Almost sold the business

The mother of two founded Madly, an award-winning bespoke jewellery brand in 2014. Specialising in coloured gems, it aimed to disrupt the local diamond-centric jewellery industry.

Years ago, Barber almost sold the business for a tenth of what it is worth now.

It has since flourished, and Barber has decided to leave radio to focus on taking the jewellery brand to the next level.

Running up to her final show, Barber will be giving five selected listeners a Madly jewellery experience worth S$10,000 each.

This giveaway will run over three weeks, with a total of S$50,000 worth of jewellery up for grabs.

Coloured gems specialist

Madly boasts a team of jewellery designers, GIA graduates, and an in-house gem cutter, to deliver hand-drawn bespoke designs.

They also promote responsible mining and ensure that more of the gem's value goes to benefit the people and communities at their source.

Madly has an in-house gem laboratory where Madly team members can undergo hands-on training to continuously improve their gem knowledge.
