6 new Covid-19 community cases in S'pore, 1 is unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 20 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Sunday (Jun. 6).

This brings the total number of cases to 62,196.

There are six new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection. Five are linked to previous cases, and were all already placed on quarantine.

One is currently unlinked.

Based on MOH's investigations so far, the cases are in the community, and there are no new cases in the dormitories.

14 of the cases announced today are imported, and all were placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Of these, 12 are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
