13 Covid-19 community cases in S'pore on June 23, 3 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 22 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12pm on Wednesday (June 23).

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore thus far to 62,470.

There are 13 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection, all of whom are in the community.

10 of the community cases are linked to previous cases. Amongst them, eight had already been placed on quarantine earlier and two were detected through surveillance.

The remaining three community cases are currently unlinked.

MOH said that there are no new cases reported in the dormitories.

In addition, there are nine imported cases. All had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

Of these, four are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
