JEM and Westgate shopping malls were closed for two weeks to break any potential chain of transmission and carry out deep cleaning of the premises.

63 cases are currently linked to the JEM/Westgate cluster.

They have now since reopened.

JEM announced the reopening on Facebook, saying they had "cleaned up with every corner of the mall, including the store premises, disinfected".

They reassured shoppers that all contact tracing and safe distancing measures remain in place.

Westgate also welcomed back shoppers, assuring them that the necessary cleaning had been done.
They also announced enhanced precautionary measures to safeguard public health.
