A cyclist had visited Ulu Sembawang Park Connector recently and was treated to a breathtaking view of a sunrise.

In a series of photos uploaded to the Facebook group SG PCN Cyclist on Jun. 17, one Chee Siong Lim said that he witnessed a "gorgeous view" at around 6:40am.

His photos show a magical-looking sunrise in the background — above the morning fog is a sky streaked with bright orange and purple.

Similar sunrise photos have also been captured by others at this location, such as this photo uploaded in May 2021.

Ulu Sembawang Park Connector is located in Mandai, just north of the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari.

Only 1.3km long, the park connector links the Woodlands (SLE) Park Connector to the Mandai Park Connector. Do note, however, that there are no lamp posts along this park connector.

Singapore’s Park Connector Network (PCN) boasts a total length of 360 km, providing recreational paths for joggers, cyclists and skaters.

NParks has also curated recommended trails and routes you can follow.
