24 Covid-19 community cases in S’pore on Jun. 2, five unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 31 new cases of Covid-19 in Singapore as of 12pm on Jun. 2, 2021.

This brings the total number of cases to 62,100.

There are 24 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection.

19 are linked to previous cases and five of them are unlinked.

There are no new cases reported in dormitories.

Amongst these new cases, 18 have already been placed on quarantine earlier and one was detected through surveillance.

In addition, there are seven imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Of these, six are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs).
