From July 2, 2021, the Ministry of Health (MOH) will be extending the national vaccination programme to the rest of the population.

This includes all Permanent Residents and long-term pass holders in Singapore aged 12 to 39 years old.

S'pore can cover most of the population in July

Eligible individuals can register interest for vaccination here.

After registration, they will be invited to book their vaccination appointments via an SMS with a personalised booking link sent to the mobile number they registered with.

According to a press release by MOH, if supplies continue to arrive as planned, Singapore will be able to substantially cover most of the population with a first dose sometime in July, reaching the objective of giving as many people as possible some protection.

Reviewing dose interval

MOH will review the current dose interval of six to eight weeks with a view to shorten it to four weeks.

MOH added that this will allow more of the population to complete their vaccination with two doses and receive maximum protection sooner.

More details will be announced when ready.
