14 locally-transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore, with 4 unlinked, on June 18

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 16 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Thursday (June 18).

This brings the total number of cases to 62,382.

Of these 16, there are 14 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection.

10 are linked to previous cases, of whom five were already placed on quarantine. The other five were detected through surveillance.

The remaining four cases are currently unlinked.

MOH said that there are no new cases in the dormitories.

There are two imported cases, who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore. Both are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
