20 locally-transmitted Covid-19 cases in S'pore, 2 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 27 new cases of Covid-19 infection in Singapore as of 12pm on Thursday (June 17).

This brings the total number of cases to 62,366.

There are 20 new cases of locally-transmitted Covid-19 infection.

18 are linked to previous cases, of whom 13 were already placed on quarantine. Five were detected through surveillance.

The remaining two cases are currently unlinked.

MOH said that there are no new cases in the dormitories.

In addition, there are seven imported cases, who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore. Of these, three are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
