15 Covid-19 community cases in S'pore on June 1, 7 unlinked

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 18 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore as of 12pm on Tuesday (June 1).

This brings the total number of cases to 62,069.

There are 15 new cases of locally transmitted Covid-19 infections, of whom eight are linked to previous cases.

Among the linked cases, six had already been placed on quarantine earlier and two were detected through surveillance.

The remaining 7 cases are currently unlinked.

No new cases were reported in the dormitories today.

In addition, there are three imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) or isolated upon arrival in Singapore.

Of these, two are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
