Cats often get stuck in the most unlikely places.

This one cat in Singapore, for example, somehow found itself in a less-than-ideal situation inside a car engine.

Stuck in car engine

According to a post by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Singapore, the organisation was alerted to a call by a couple who halted their afternoon drive when they realised there was a male cat inside their car engine.

Due to space constraints, it took over two hours for an Animal Rescue Officer from SPCA Singapore to free the cat.

After it was rescued, it seemed to look a little exhausted, with drool all over due to the warm weather, on top of the hot engine.

Generally healthy feline

After undergoing medical checks at SPCA's Community Animal Clinic, the heterochromia boy was found to be generally healthy.

For those who don't know, heterochromia is a condition that results in a cat having different coloured eyes.

Although it was left unclaimed under SPCA's lost and found, this pretty boy was listed for adoption and has since found its forever home.
