Opened on June 17, Cafe Kuriko is a Japanese Mont Blanc specialty store at Funan.
Named for its resemblance to a snow-capped mountain, Mont Blanc is a dessert that consists of a vermicelli made of sweetened chestnut purée, topped with whipped cream.
Cafe Kuriko uses chestnuts from Japan to make their Mont Blanc.
Mont Blanc
The signature Mont Blanc (S$13.90) comes in two varieties - Chestnut/Waguri (contains alcohol) and Purple Sweet Potato.
You may choose between chestnut or cheese for the base.

Both signature flavours also come in parfait versions (S$13.90), topped with Mont Blanc, jelly, rice puffs, cake, and vanilla ice-cream.

If you prefer cake, check out the Mont Blanc Zuccotto (contains alcohol) at S$10.30 per slice.

Zuccotto is a semi-frozen chilled Italian dessert made with alchermes (liquor), cake and ice-cream.
In addition, they also have a Mont Blanc latte and Purple Sweet Potato Mont Blanc latte, both S$8.90.

They also have other non-Mont Blanc zuccottos, tarts, parfaits, and cheesecakes.

Enjoy S$2 off when you complete your dessert with their specialty tea.
Specialty tea flavours include Momo Sencha, Lavender Yuzu Houjicha, Roman Chamomile, and Yuzu Pear Blossom.
Cha-nabe
Cafe Kuriko also serve hot mains, specifically Cha-Nabe.
A Japanese soup dish that comes with udon or rice, Cafe Kuriko offers four soup bases - Tonkotsu, Soya Milk, Tomato and Shio.

Prices range from S$13.90 to S$15.90 for a la carte orders.
For an additional S$3, you may upgrade it to a set that comes with pickle and potato salad, and a selected drink.
