A new ice-cream cafe in Tampines has opened in a glasshouse-like building on June 23.

Although located at the Alps Residences, the second outlet of Around cafe remains accessible to the public.

Cafe facade and interior

The ceiling-to-floor glass facade of the cafe allows plenty of natural light in. It's not a full glass-panelled building, though.

The interior is kept minimalistic with predominantly white furniture and walls, as well as a cement floor.

In light of the latest Covid-19 dine-in restrictions, the current seating capacity is 16.

The cafe currently only sells desserts and drinks.

Desserts

Ice-cream is priced at S$4.20 per single scoop or S$8 for a double scoop.

Top up an additional S$1 for a cone without or without a cup.

Premium flavours* come with a surcharge of S$1.

A spokesperson for the cafe told Mothership that ice-cream flavours will be rotated weekly.

There's also waffles for S$7.90 each.

For the best of both worlds, top your waffle with a single scoop of ice-cream for S$11.90, or double scoop for S$14.90.

Top up an additional S$6 for a drink.

They also have other desserts such as cheesecakes, crepe cake, and brownie for S$7.90 each, and assorted cookies from S$4.90 to S$5.90.

The spokesperson added that there are plans to sell croissants, bingsu, and sandwiches in the near future.

Beverages

The cafe offers mocktails such as Tropical Sunrise, Floral Hibiscus, Mango Sunshine, Fizzy Apple, and Watermelon Lush for S$6.90 each.

It also has bubble tea from prices starting at S$3.90 for milk tea to S$5.90 for brown sugar milk.

Their assorted teas are priced between S$7.90 to S$8.90, with an additional surcharge of S$1 for ice.

Available both hot and cold, coffee drinks range from an espresso for S$2.90 to a hazelnut latte for S$5.50.

They also serve hot chocolate at S$4.90 while the cold version costs S$5.90.
