Sheng Siong has temporarily closed their outlet at Bukit Batok 440 after an employee tested positive for Covid-19.

According to Sheng Siong, the employee has been hospitalised.

Employees who have been identified as close contacts have been isolated and put on leave of absence.

All employees of the store will be sent for swab tests. In line with NEA’s guidelines, the store will be closed at 4pm on May 16 for deep cleaning procedures.

Business will resume on Tuesday, May 18.

Sheng Siong apologised for the inconvenience and said they will work closely with the authorities on contact tracing.
