All residents living at Blk 559 Pasir Ris Street 51 will have to undergo swab test on May 23 and May 24.

The swab test will be conducted at the Regional Screening Centre (RSC) at former Coral Primary School from 9am to 4pm on these two days, according to Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC Member of Parliament (MP) Desmond Tan.

This is a precautionary measure after cases of Covid-19 infections were reported from the block, Tan said.

Residents will receive flyers from the Ministry of Health at their door and will be informed via SMS notification about their appointment for the swab.

Tan urged residents to keep to their time slot to avoid overcrowding at the RSC.

The town council has conducted a thorough cleaning and disinfection at the common areas of Blk 559 and the surrounding blocks.

Tan thanked the various agencies for volunteers involved for facilitating this swab test within a short period of time.
